Chicken Soup is nice and I had no idea about Vince Neil of Motley Crue

I'm about all blogged out right now.  I just wrote a long blog for my unmonetized one, and that used up all of my writing mana.
     Man, I need money.
I saw some city workers sweeping the street.
That didn't look like much fun at all.

God, the worst woman in San Francisco was out there with her walker and her vodka bottle.  Let's just say she needs a bath and some clean clothes, it would just be too disgusting to describe her pants.
She's come in here with her vodka bottle, and the cops had to be called.
     She is the worst.

I'm glad that is all over with.
Now I can go back to bitching about the people in the cafe, like normal.

Anyway, I've done my work in here.

Now I need a visit to the ATM, but I need to put more money into my account.  That is a problem.  The only way to do that is with a paid job.

Members of Hanoi Rocks were homeless for a time as they tried to build a career.
They were big in Japan for a while.
The lead singer looked like he could be an anime character is why.  lol.

Anyway, yet another blog entry, how thrilling.

I got some chicken soup at home, and that sounds real good.

I pulled out some money from the ATM.  I'll be able to make rent, barely.  I got to come up with a better life.
I had better get painting or something.
Making videos seems to be better advertising for me, though.

I was never talented enough to be in a band or anything.

Wow, Vince Neil from Motley Crue drove drunk on the way to the liquor store with the drummer from Hanoi Rocks, who died in the car accident.  Vince was arrested at the scene.
     Bad, Vince, Bad!

That sucked.  It was the end of Hanoi Rocks for a while.

I don't know how Vince got away with that one.  Drunk driving and getting somebody killed?  Other people would spend twenty years in jail for that.
Wow, Vince has had quite the history of legal battles, and he has seemed to be able to walk free from all of it.
I guess it helps to be a celebrity, but he is a repeat offender, sheez.

Meanwhile, I get to listen to two monotone guys talking next to me.  I don't know what the hell they are talking about.

It turns out that Vince Neil is quite the business man.  Dang.  And married four times, each one ending in disaster.

I have kind of had enough of the cafe for today.  I just want to go home and make chicken soup.

And wow, I did not know that Vince Neil was such a drunken bastard.

It feels like November today...

That was fun.  I just had a good time making a video called, "I Have No Talent".  I have a good time making text videos, and just reading the dialog into my headset, and feeling free to do impromptu dialog when I feel like it.
It's a liberating feeling for me, and brings an elated sense to me.

I guess it would be nice to have a successful movie career and have the money rolling in.  It's not easy work, though.  It is in fact, really difficult to be on the set day after day from morning until late at night.
I'm not really into fourteen hour work days, thus, I am not in the film industry.
I wanted to have a life, and do my thing.  Unfortunately, this is a road to poverty.
I have to figure out what I am going to do to make a living.
I have never really gotten it together to have a cartooning career.  I thought it would be nice to have a syndicated cartoon strip.  I just don't have the drive to do that every day.  I have lots of interests, and what I do creatively varies from day to day.
My basic routine is the same, though.  I need the structure of the routine, to make everything else happen.  Unfortunately, the unpredictable nature of women just drives me to be alone, so I can get stuff done.  I don't like to be taken out of my routine much.  It is no fun for me, to be hanging out with a bunch of people that I don't even know or care about just because a girl wanted me to be there.

I just witnessed a woman ask a guy doing his crossword puzzle for directions.  She was surprised at his answer, because that meant she had to walk a couple of extra blocks.  The guy was just minding his own business, and he ends up getting barraged with excess emotion and words.
He answered the question, what more do you want, woman?

It's about time to go.  I stayed here way too long yesterday.  I don't want to be here until four o'clock today.

* * *
I just told the homeless crack addict lady to leave.  She was digging through the trash can.
"Get out of here lady.  I'm sick of you."
She has caused disturbances in the cafe, and I was laughing when she got arrested a couple of months back.

Anyway, it is a cold day.  It finally feels like November today, even though yesterday felt like August.

I figure I am going to have to write 10,000 blog entries before anything happens, just to have my writing appear in searches, what with all of the choices on the web.  Why would anybody want to read my writing?  I see no reason.
I like writing, and I'll keep doing it, but I don't expect anything to ever come from it, now that I think about it.
It's a lot easier to get hits on youtube, and even that is not easy.

I have no followers...lol.

I don't really care.  It would be nice to have followers, and to have people anxiously waiting for me to write my next blog to see what I will say next, but to have something like that happen could take years, if what I know about blogs is true.
As a writer trying to figure out a balance between what I like to write and what others like to read, well, it all takes time, and a lot of experimentation.
I was laughing this morning thinking about putting the amount of work required of me to write an essay for school, with all the references and quotes and research necessary to write that kind of stuff.
I don't think anybody would read essays like that.
I have a hard enough time getting people to read the crap that I write.

I am happy writing whether I have followers or not.  It doesn't really affect the amount of material I produce on a daily basis.

One thing is for sure...if I had some stupid job that I had to go to, entries like this might not exist.
Some people might think that might be a good thing, since all of my work is of questionable quality.

Funny to think that these blog entries will sit here in cyberspace forever.  It will be amusing to look at some of the entries years from now.
I'm sure I will think when I read the stuff that I am writing now, that I will say out loud, "WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING?"

Hello and Good Morning. I will try to keep this blog entry clean.

Third-Party Content

I see that people all the time put graphics, photos, and videos on their blogs that they did not create.  I do it myself, based on the fact that other people do it.  I see no problem with it.
Youtube does have a problem with third party content and their policies, if people try to make money on their videos with content that they don't own.
On Blogger, it all doesn't seem to matter much, as far as I can tell so far.
I don't know how many hits Blogger gets on a daily basis, and whether or not that number is significant.
Wordpress seems to be a more credible and populated blog.
I like this one for ease of use, plus they have an 18 and over filter.  I am still trying to figure out what I can and can not do on that.  I basically need a lawyer to make everything I do legal on my own site.  I am really curious about doing that, just because I don't want to get into trouble.
Anyway...some guy is talking on his phone next to me, so that makes it hard to think.

I went out for a smoke.  It takes five to seven minutes to smoke a cigarette.  He's still talking.  So much for the three minute telephone call rule.  That rule disappeared long ago.

Anyway, to continue with these thoughts if I am able to,...uh...I did hear a story long ago about some guy using some graphic on his site, and the company who owned the graphic just sat and waited for seven years.  Then when he made money with the site, the company sued him for his shirt.  That stuff happens, you know.  It is better to create your own content for everything if you can.

A lot of people put their own graphic logo at the start and/or end of every video they make, but then they just film a video game.  lol.  People are so cheap.  They also write in all caps that they don't own the content, as if that will make it all better.  That doesn't matter when you are in court.

So generally, it is best to create your own content if you can.
I do a mix of my own and other people's content.
Some people have channels where it is 100% their own content.  Youtube likes that a lot.  It makes it so much easier for them, especially if that channel gets a lot of hits.  They love it.
In a way, that is the way to go; however, by putting up a 'Beavis and Butthead' video up, that has brought my channel 10,000 hits relatively fast, which might help in getting people to watch my other videos.  So for me, no one would watch my stuff unless I put third-party content on once in a while.
Ultimately, each person has to make up his/her own mind about all this stuff.

Imagine being a kid and starting with youtube when you are 13.  You could be world famous by the time you are out of high school.  That kind of stuff is starting to happen.

     More on this subject later.

8 then 11 hits on this blog

Of course, it keeps track of my own hits, but nobody cares except for the actual number that shows up, and even then they don't care.
They might have a momentary thought of, 'Wow, he has eight hits.  My, that is most impressive.  It is way better than a lowly seven hits, or a despicable six hits."

All that matters is I get hits, no matter how, whether it is from me, or somebody else.

For a person who has 100,000 hits on their blog, in which their own hits are counted, well, if you visit your own blog several times a day to write it, then over time, a pretty decent percentage of the hits will be from the user.
At that point, the user is subjected to all the ads on his/her own blog.

I try not to look at the ads.

Anyhow, the new South Park was last night, with Kenny and his brother and sister are sent to a foster home and a new school.
Cartman is eventually sent there, too.
Mysterion makes a surprise appearance, using firecrackers to shield his escape, lol.
It was a pretty good episode.  I was entertained.
Kenny even dies at the end, which was a surprise.  They haven't done that in a while.
Well, there you go, fifteen seasons of South Park are complete.
Funny to think now that the series didn't really start to get going until the 8th or 9th year.  It seems to me that everything up to then was just a build up for what they are able to now.  The writing keeps getting better, and so do the visuals, and Matt and Trey really love doing the show, so that is awesome.
I'm glad that Matt and Trey have had success with a show they love to do.  That's kind of the dream life, right?  They do work their butts off, though, so they deserve it all.
South Park has a devoted fan base, too.  That must be nice to have.
Yeah, I'm jealous, who wouldn't be?
It was really funny that the foster parents were agnostic.  That was pretty funny, raising all the kids with the agnostic dogma.

Without going to the cafe every day, I'd really be stuck in the studio doing the same old thing, day after day.  At least I get a little variety here.  I get to be around people, and I get some sunshine, which is always nice.

Dang, I should write a letter to my oldest brother.  About what, I don't know.  He's been writing me so many emails about what, I don't know, that it might be time to send him one.  It all doesn't matter, since he doesn't seem too good at interpreting my writing.
Every dialogue gets turned into being about him, and that is so not fun for me.
Sometimes he means well, maybe.  Other times, there are motives.
One of his motives that is quite unfun for me is he wants to prepare the entire family to go to The Mormon Heaven.
That sounds to me to be about the biggest waste of time ever.

Wow, I have 5 hits on this blog now and LoTR is my new Bible

It doesn't matter what I title these blog entries, or what I write about.  All that matters is that my numbers eventually go up, which will lead to more hits.
When I get more hits, then I can get even more.
All these hits will lead to maybe a penny or two from adsense.
Well, if I get a couple of pennies, then I can more after that.

Anyway, I really wanted to come to the cafe.  I've got a window facing the north.  I need my Northern Light.  It's the best for painting, which reminds me that I have to paint in here again.  Since I started going laptop crazy again, I haven't been painting or drawing much.
I'm on the computer ALL DAY LONG.
I'm just trying to make something happen, and it ain't easy.
     Not at all.

It was fun yesterday doing some dancing for youtube, and speeding up the dancing.  I've never really done that before.  The results were pretty good.  It makes me want to do more.  I could even do some choreography.

I haven't done much dancing lately, so it is nice to do something with it.  I spent some time learning it, might as well use what is available to me.

I'm kind of interested in silent film again from the twenties.  I know I'm interested in Chaplin and Keaton, and then I'll go from there.

Anyhow, it is a brand new day.

I'm actually having problems figuring out how I'm going to make a living.  ( laughter from the audience )

Anyhow, I'm going to step out for a smoke.

Funny when I go out there.  I get a head change, and think about things that are completely different than what I was thinking about at the table.
The first notable thing I thought about was how I replaced The Bible with 'The Lord of The Rings'.  That is the book that is on my bedside now.  I've been reading it and falling asleep to it every night.  It is really nice.  It gives me a reason to go to bed, and something to do in bed.  God knows there isn't anyone else there.
Anyway, The Bible was a way to preserve The English Language, most notable The King's English, across the American Frontier.  Often, it would be the only book that people would carry with them in their travels.
Well, I certainly don't trust The King's English now.  For one thing, The Bible isn't written especially well.  It is filled with contradictions and loopholes.  Some parts of it are so boring that it is a complete chore to read.
Other parts are really beautiful and poetic.  Some parts are violent and even deeply sexual.  Other parts are about the business of sheep.
Anyhow, I find it does me no good to have my mind stuck in ancient records with which to guide my life by.
'The Lord of The Rings' on the other hand is written rather well with a mastery of The English Language on every page.
The Bible has problems with consistency and plot.
With LoTR, I get well-written sentences.  I need that if I am ever going to be a successful writer.  The Bible isn't going to do me much good at this point.
Christopher Lee has read 'The Lord of The Rings' once a year since it was published, and if it is good enough for him, it is good enough for me.  He is a fine actor.
He was actually in 'Return to Witch Mountain' with Bette Davis.  It was a terrible story, where the little witch twins were pitted against each other, since the boy was under their control.  It's just a bad movie no matter how you look at it.
In watching the first one, 'Escape From Witch Mountain' in the last year, the final third of the movie is incredibly tedious.  I remember falling asleep during that in the theaters, or at least being really bored with the car chase at the end, which went on way too long.  As an adult watching the same movie, I had the same reaction to the film thirty-five years later.  The end went on for too long.
Disney had a good thing going with those Witch Mountain movies.  My attention was engaged, and my imagination captured.  Then bad writing led to a crash with a franchise killing second movie.
Disney revived the series a year or two ago.  I didn't go see it.  No point in doing that.
Disney has made a lot of hack live-action movies.  They are cheaper to make than animation.
Also, Disney is still the lowest-paying studio in the business.  Working for Disney means you are making minimum.

Thank god I got my coffee.  What a relief.  I need to be here if I want to write anything decent.  I just can't do it at home.  It's more set up for video games.
I still blog there once in a while when I get an idea, but that isn't often.
I don't find that switching gears from video game mode to text mode is easy or interesting for me.
I have found that I love to do text here, though.
It's been normal to do my writing on my sketchpad, where I write about my tedious events of the day.
Here, I can generate a lot more words using two hands than I can with a pencil or pen.
The thoughts flow more smoothly here.
     It is nice.
I still like to write by hand though.
I've noticed over the years that different tools that you use lead to different thoughts.
A pencil is a medium, in the magic sense of the word.  It is a conduit for words to appear, or images, where previously there was none.
Who knew it, but a pencil is a magic wand.
With a pencil, you can make anything happen on the two-dimensional world of paper.

Is it a good time to end this blog?  I don't know.  Things just turn to mush after a bit, or things get syrupy.

I wonder if anyone will ever notice my work?  Also, I wonder, if they do notice it, will anything ever beneficial happen to me as a result?  In other words, is this all pointless?  Probably, so I might as well have a good time, and party until I drop.

I've been having fun playing BurnOut Revenge.  It is an awesome game.  Making videos of that game has been a blast.  I might make another one today, which is another activity which will net me no money at all.   I'm going to have to work on that.
