Well, I figured with youtube, that I needed to make at least a thousand videos in order to make anything happen with my channel.
The same is true of a blog.
You need a lot of entries.
Whatever you think is a lot, trust me, you need more.
Also, the blogs all need to be brilliantly written, funny, professional, informative, and absolutely incredible. It should be as if the greatest writers were informing all of your writing choices.
All this might result in two cents of income from adsense.
It hardly seems worth it.
However, some people use the blog as a way to put together a book, and then get it published in the traditional way, and that might produce revenue.
In any case, it's not easy to be a writer. It takes hours of dedication, and, you have to read a lot, too. You just can't write all the time and expect your stuff to be good. You have to read as prolifically as you write.
